What is Infusion Therapy?
Infusion Therapy is also known as intravenous therapy or IV therapy because it is administered directly into the bloodstream through a catheter. Infusions can be the most efficient way to deliver a sufficient dose of specialized medication, eliminating the need for frequent, painful injections. It enables your doctor to provide more potent therapy and expedite your treatment. It is used to treat a number of autoimmune diseases, infections, cancers, and other blood disorders.
Our Infusion Center
Our Infusion Center provides quality infusion services every day of the week. We administer specialized medicine in an outpatient setting for a wide variety of conditions. Our services can expedite discharge from hospitals or help avoid hospitalization. The infusion can be done on different intervals.
Our center provides a comfortable and friendly environment to patients. All infusions are administered by experienced nursing staff under the supervision of a physician.
Home Infusion Therapy involves the administration of medications prescribed by your physician via intravenous (IV) routes in your home. Our staff will provide you with prepackaged medications and educate you or a family member on administering the medication. We can arrange for home health services, if needed, to help you with the process.
We monitor and maintain the infusion catheter and pump, and we are available to answer any questions you may have over the phone or in person.
